The fabric

Crafted from 80% recycled Q-Nova® polyamide and 20% elastane (190 g/m²), this swimsuit combines durability with a silky touch.

The fully recycled lining (82% polyamide / 18% elastane) ensures comfort and support for every body type.

Finished with Sensitive® Fabrics, renowned for their premium quality and smooth texture.

Meticulously made in Spain under ethical production standards.

Wear & care

Before wearing your Tankini, machine wash at 30 °C, and air dry (no machine drying).

To preserve its quality, rinse after each use and machine wash at 30 ° C (delicate program) and air dry (no machine drying).

Spread it flat for optimal drying.

Excessive use of detergent will alter your swimsuit.

Questions women ask

Can I wear an ikonō swimsuit without a prosthesis? +
Yes, absolutely. ikonō is designed for every woman whose body has lived — with or without a prosthesis, with or without scars, with or without asymmetry. Our pockets are simply invisible from the outside : they don't show, they don't pull, they don't change the cut. Many of our customers don't use prosthesis pockets at all. They choose ikonō for the fit, the fabric, and the signature pink lining.
Why did you design swimsuits with prosthesis pockets? +
After breast cancer surgery, many women feel they have to choose between a medical-looking swimsuit and a beautiful one. Existing post-mastectomy swimwear is functional but rarely desirable. Existing premium swimwear is beautiful but ignores bodies that have changed. ikonō was born to bridge that gap : a premium swimsuit where the functionality is invisible, where elegance is the starting point. The pocket is there if you need it. The beauty is there for everyone.
Are the swimsuits delivered with a prosthesis? +
No. ikonō swimsuits don't include prostheses. Prostheses are personal medical devices fitted by specialists according to your body, your surgery and your needs. If you already have prostheses, our pockets are designed to hold them invisibly — left and right, symmetrical, for unilateral or bilateral mastectomy. If you're looking for a prosthesis, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider.
How do the prosthesis pockets work? +
Each ikonō swimsuit has two invisible inner pockets (left and right) sewn into a double-layer fabric. The pocket holds a prosthesis securely and stays in place even in motion or in salt water. No visible thickness, no medical signs from the outside. The pockets work for one prosthesis, two prostheses, or none at all — they adapt to your body, not the other way around.
How do I choose my size? +
ikonō runs slightly small. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one. Q-Nova® fabric holds beautifully without stretching. Our model Maya wears size 38 — she's 1m72 and a C cup. Need personal advice? Reach out to us — Claire replies to every message herself.
Does the swimsuit hold up in seawater and chlorine? +
Yes. Q-Nova® recycled polyamide is salt water and chlorine resistant. Rinse with cold water after each swim to extend the life of the fabric. Avoid wringing — gently press the water out. Hand wash in cold water, no machine drying. Treated with care, an ikonō swimsuit lasts for years.
Can I try it in a boutique before buying online? +
Absolutely. ikonō is available in selected partner boutiques across Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Germany. Our partners will help you find the perfect fit. Find a boutique near you on our stockists page.
What if the size doesn't fit? +
Free exchange within 15 days. Just contact us to arrange the return — we'll send you the right size. Returns for refund are at customer's expense. Reach out to us if you have any doubts before ordering, we'd rather help you choose the right size first.
